STAYING IN DURING SUMMER?

School is out, and the first thing everybody says is that they want to go out every night, hang out with their friends constantly, and just relax and have a good time during summer. However, sometimes things don’t always go as planned, and sometimes you may find yourself in your bed on a summer night while you think everybody else is outside having fun. It can be disappointing to spend your summer bundled up in your room day in and day out, when you had other plans for how you would spend your summer.

If you are spending most of your time at home, your summer does not have to go to waste. Be creative, think outside of the box, and enjoy the time you spend by yourself. I get it, staying in on a summer night while everybody else is either at a party, on vacation, or even if your plans did not come to life can be sad, but it’s time to turn that negativity into positivity. Stay tuned to read the various ways you can have a fun summer on the days where you have no plans with anyone else!

Self Care Nights

If you don’t know what to do when you’re at home by yourself, just have a self care day. Do your extensive skincare routine, take a super long shower, order your favorite food, or do a face mask. When I do these things, I instantly feel better. Also, it’s important to spend time with yourself and take a break from the outside world. A self care night is a perfect way to relax!

Have a Movie Marathon

Have a full day of watching movies that you have been meaning to watch or movies that give you comfort and joy. I personally love watching 90’s and early 00’s movies, especially the romantic-comedies! Spend at least one day during summer to spend the day in cute matching pajamas, watching your favorite movies.

Clothes

Maybe it’s time to upgrade your wardrobe. Clean out your closet and get rid of the clothes you no longer wear. When your closet is organized, you can figure out what you want to add to your wardrobe to enhance your style. Speaking of style, spend time trying on clothes and piecing together new outfits. It never hurts to try on different outfits and have fun with your wardrobe!
